Access to NOVASIS from International Countries

Some services in Novasis, such as Class Registration, are permitted only in certain countries and will require that you to login using Citrix vDesktop prior to accessing the service. Citrix vDesktop is UNIT's virtual desktop technology that provides access to a high performing virtual machine through a variety of devices. vDesktop allows users to access OS and various software applications virtually via any computer with an internet connection.

To register for classes when located in a country other than the United States, please follow the steps below:

1. Login to Citrix vDesktop

2. Click on “Apps” on the top panel. Then select “Google Chrome” or “Firefox” browser and click “Open” from the drop-down menus. A browser window will then pop up shortly after a loading screen.

3. Go to MyNova in your browser and sign in at the top right

4. Go to "Registration Tools" and log in

5. Select the term and enter your pin

6. Go to “Enter CRNs” and enter your course CRNs then click “Add to Summary”

8. Under “Summary”, your courses will be listed with Pending Status until “Submit” is selected at the bottom right.
