Report Button Changes in Outlook
The Report Message Add-in is no longer supported and is being replaced with the new Report button in Outlook. If you previously used the old prompt (refer to the example in the screenshot below), please follow the instructions below for using the new Report button to report messages as Phishing.

The Report Phish button makes it easy for you to report any suspicious emails sent to your inbox. Visit our Knowledge Base article to learn more about the differences between Junk/Spam and Phishing emails.

- Do not forward malicious emails
Report the Phish
Use your preferred method below to Report the Phish.
Classic Outlook for Windows
Simplified Ribbon: Click the Shield con in the ribbon, then select Report Phishing.

Classic Ribbon: Click the Report button in the ribbon, then select Report Phishing.

New Outlook for Windows
Simplified Ribbon: Click the Shield icon, then select Report Phishing.

Classic Ribbon: Click the Report button, then select Report Phishing.

Outlook for Mac
Select the email to report, click the Report button, then Report Phishing.

Outlook on the Web
Simplified Ribbon: Click the Shield icon, then select Report Phishing.

Classic Ribbon: Click the Report button, then select Report Phishing.

Outlook for iOS
Open the message and click on the three dots at the top of the screen. Select Report Junk.

Select Report Phishing.

Outlook for Android
Click on the three dots, select Report junk, then click on Phishing.
