Permission Setting Definitions

  • Everyone – This viewing permissions setting allows your presentation to be viewed by anyone who has the link, including viewers outside the university..
  • My Organization This viewing permissions setting allows only Villanova users with the link to view your presentation.
  • Only Shared Users – This viewing permissions setting allows only a defined set of users you manually invite to view your presentation. To learn more about this special setting, refer to, "Mediasite: Share a presentation with specific Villanova users".
  • Only Me – This viewing permissions setting is the same as"Private". If this setting is enabled, only you can view the presentation.

 

Where to find the "Who Can View?" setting on MyMediasite

1. Log in to your MyMediasite account with your Villanova credentials: https://vums-web.villanova.edu/mediasite/mymediasite/

2. Select the presentation you need to lock/unlock by single-clicking on its title.

3. Scroll down the page until you see the “Who Can View?” slider within the right-hand menu.
