Overview
This document will walk you through the installation of ArcMap. The full ArcGIS software is available on vDesktop.
Requirements
Internet access, EGR Portal access
Instructions
- Select ArcGIS from the Villanova Engineering Software Portal and click download.
- Once the file is done downloading, right click on it and then click “Extract All” to unzip the file.
- Launch ArcGIS_Desktop_1031_145699
- Click next until you see the window below. Hit next again.
- Accept the terms and conditions, then hit “Next”.
- Keep the default option of “Complete” and click “Next”.
- Continue clicking “Next” for the following two sceens and click “Install” on the final screen
- When the program is finished installing, click “Finish”.
- On the next screen, click “OK” and ArcMap will now be installed.
