  3. In the left-hand navigation bar in the Course Management's control panel, click on Package and Utilities and select Course Copy.

  1. On the next screen, under Select Copy Type, select Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course from the drop down menu.

  • Select the radio button to the left of the course you wish to copy to, and click the Submit button. The Course ID should now contain the course information of the course you just selected.
  1. Next, you will need to select the content you wish to copy.
  • Option 1: To copy all course materials, click the Select All button.
  • Note: Depending on the settings of your course, not all boxes may be checked when clicking the Select All button
  • Option 2: Individually select the course materials you wish to copy.
  • Note: If you wish to copy any graded items, such as assignments, discussion boards, or tests, you must check the box for Grade Center Columns and Settings.
  1. Under File Attachments, make sure that the default option Copy links and copies of the content is selected.
  2. Under Enrollments, do not check the option Include Enrollments in the Copy.
  3. Click the Submit button.
  4. The next screen will display a bar at the top that states the course copy is queued and an email will be sent to you when complete. The size of your course will determine how long the process will take. Once you have received the email that the course copy has been completed, you can begin modifying your new course.
