CX-E Voice Mobile Update:

UNIT has upgraded the CX-E Voice Mobile platform, a free app that allows users to manage their university voicemail calls on their mobile devices.  

With CX-E Mobile, users can boost personal productivity through visual call screening, inbound and outbound dialing with mobile number protection, and more.

The app is available on App Store and Google Play and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, iOS 11.0 or later, and Android. After you download the app, follow the setup instructions below.  For those who already have the app on your phone, please start at Step 2.

Step 1. Add mobile device to your profile (this step must be performed prior to step #2 below!)

a.       Using a browser, access Web Phone Manager at https://voicemail.villanova.edu/

b.       In the left menu, under Settings, select Devices.

c.       Add a telephone number for either a Company Mobile device or a Personal Mobile device, and ensure that device is displayed as Primary Mobile Device.

d.       Click OK to close Devices dialog box.

Step 2. Open the CX-E Voice Mobile app and click Login.

Step 3. Fill in the Server Name box with the following: voicemobile.villanova.edu/cxms.  Under Options, enable Use secure connection (SSL). Click next.

Step 4. Under Username, enter your university phone extension, 9xxxx. In the Security Code box, enter your voicemail security code. In the Phone Number box, enter your mobile phone number and then click next.

Step 5. Select your preferred of the three notification options. Click finish.

Step 6. Click Finish.
