Overview
Advisors can search for an individual advisee or access their list of advisees (active students). This provides an option to email advisees in bulk (Bcc). This also provides Advisor Access to Student Profile: Advisors can view advisee curriculum data, holds, registration status, grades (midterm and final), schedule (current and future registrations), Week-at-A-Glance, and academic transcript.
Requirements
Must have an advisor to advisee relationship in the database and access to myNova, or Administrative Override to view all students.
Instructions
Log in to mynova and search for advisor's list.
Select the resulting task item, Advisor's List.
From the Advisee Search page, enter the current enrollment or registration term.
- To search for an individual advisee, search by ID, Student Email address or Student Name.
Once you have entered the search information in the field, make sure to hit the Enter key to register the search.
If the correct advisee is found, click on the View Profile button to access the advisee's Student Profile.
- To access your list of advisees for the term, click on the View My Advisee Listing link to the right of the View Profile button. Click on the Advisee's Name on the list to access their Student Profile.
