“Class standing for registration purposes” is not the same as “class standing”. Class standing for registration purposes adds the student’s current enrolled credits to their earned credits. In other words, this is the class standing that they WILL HAVE when taking the courses for which they are registering.
The chart below illustrates the EARNED credits required for each class type. "Earned credits" is defined as completed courses for which a passing grade has been awarded. In-progress courses are not included in this calculation.
