Brightspace: Move Content within Brightspace

Learn how to move content within a Brightspace course by dragging and dropping items in the Content area so you can reorganize your course materials more easily.

Overview

This article describes how to move course content within your course. 

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Content area of your course. 

2. Locate the item you'd like to move.

Note- Moving a unit will move all of the content within it. To move items within a unit, use the drop down arrow to the left of the unit title.

3. Click, drag, and drop items to reorder them as desired.

Note: If you are moving content between courses, follow instructions on how to copy content.
