Cyber criminals use a variety of communication channels to perpetuate their scams, including phone calls (vishing) and text messages (smishing). If you receive a suspicious call, voicemail or text message, use the options below to report and block it.
Consistently blocking and reporting scam calls and texts helps improve the overall spam detection algorithms for your devices. By actively using these tools, you protect yourself and contribute to a better, safer mobile experience for everyone.
Report a Phone Call
iOS Device
1. Go to your call history and click the Information (i) Icon next to the number.

2. Scroll down and select
Block Contact.
3. Select Block and Report Junk.

Android Device
1. Go to your call history, touch and hold on the scam call.
2. From the menu, select Block/Report Spam.

3. Check the box for
Report Call as Spam, then press
Block.

Report a Text Message
iOS Device
1. In the text thread, click the Report Spam option beneath the message.

2. Select
Delete and Report Spam.

Android Device
1. In the text threat with an unknown number, you may see a pop up asking if you want to save this contact. Select Report Spam. If you do not see this pop-up, touch and hold the message.

2. Check the box for
Block, then press
Report Spam.
