Learn how to subscribe to Brightspace Calendar and link it to your Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar, or Apple iCloud Calendar.

Due Dates (if applied in the course) will visually appear on the Brightspace Calendar (as well as on the associated item in Brightspace (Assignment, Quiz, File, Discussion, etc...).

Find your Brightspace Calendar

On the Brightspace Homepage (Landing Page)

Click on the Villanova logo in the top left corner to navigate to the Brightspace homepage.
Find the calendar widget on the right-side of the screen, below the Announcements Widget. Due dates from all of your courses will appear on this calendar.

In your Brightspace Course

Enter your course. You will see the Calendar on the Course homepage.
Or click on Calendar on the blue course navigation bar.

Customize which Brightspace Course Calendars are displayed

On the Calendar widget, click the dropdown arrow and select Go to Calendar from the dropdown menu.
Click the All Calendars dropdown arrow. This will display all calendars that currently feed into your overall Brightspace calendar.
To remove a course from the calendar, click the X icon next to a course’s title.

Connect Calendar to Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple iCloud Calendar

Navigate to the calendar using one of the methods listed above
Click Settings. Click the checkbox for Enable Calendar Feeds. Click Save.
Click Subscribe.
Select All Calendars or the course specific calendar. Then, you can copy the Calendar URL or download the calendar ics file.
Using Google Calendar?
- Visit the Google Calendar Help Page and follow the steps listed in the Use a link to add a public calendar section.
Using Microsoft Outlook?
- Visit the Outlook Calendar Help Page and follow the steps listed.
Using Apple Calendar (iCloud)
- Visit the Apple Subcription Calendar and the follow the steps listed
