Overview
This article explains how to use Zoom's All Screen Mode to monitor students during an exam. This feature allow instructor to view multiple participants' screen at the same time.
Requirements
- Zoom desktop app
- Windows: 5.17.10 or higher
- macOS: 5.17.10 or higher
- Linux: 5.17.10 or higher
- Zoom mobile app
- Android: 5.17.10 or higher
- iOS: 5.17.10 or higher
Instructions
Enable All Screens Mode in Zoom Settings
Before using this feature, you must enable the required settings in your Zoom account.
- Sign in to villanova.zoom.us.
- Click Settings.
- Navigate to Screen Sharing (or use the search bar).

- Select Multiple participants can share simultaneously.
- Enable All Screens Mode.
- Click Save.
Using All Screens Mode
- Participant video and shared screens display side-by-side
- Up to three participants can be viewed at one time
- Use navigation arrows to move between participants
- For participants using multiple monitors, use arrows to switch between screens

Stop All Screens Mode
To stop All Screens Mode:
- Click the Host Tools icon in the meeting toolbar.
- If the icon is not visible, click More to locate it.
- Select Advanced.
- Toggle All Screens Mode off.
Monitoring Tip
To verify who is sharing their screen:
- Click the Participants icon.
- Look for the screen share icon next to each participant’s name.
- Participants who are sharing will display this icon.
