This article shows the various teaching assistant (TA) roles available in Brightspace.

Information

There are three types of TA roles available:

Teaching Assistant (TA)
What they can do:
Manage course content
Access the Gradebook 
Grade Assignments/Quizzes/Discussion Boards

Teaching Assistant – Grader
What they can do:
Access the Gradebook
Grade Assignments/Quizzes/Discussion Boards
What they cannot do:
Manage course content

Teaching Assistant – No Edit
What they can do:
View course content
What they cannot do:
Access the Gradebook
Grade Assignments/Quizzes/Discussion Boards
Manage course content

You can request a TA be added to your course by clicking on Request Brightspace Access to the right.
