Overview
This article provides instructions for adjusting reading and display preferences in ReadSpeaker TextAid.
Instructions
- Open ReadSpeaker TextAid from Brightspace. (Go to brightspace.villanova.edu and select ReadSpeaker TextAid under Villanova Resources)
- Open the document or text you want to read.
- Click on the
icon on the lower left.
- Select Reading to bring up the Reading Settings menu.
- Use the available controls to adjust your reading experience.
Available Reading Preferences
- Reading speed: Slow down or speed up the reading voice.
- Voice: Select a different reading voice.
- Pause Between Words: Set the pause time between each word.
Additional Settings
Additional settings to adjust the default Text, Highlighting, and Reading Area are available by clicking on the
