A normal scholastic load for undergraduates is defined by each college, as listed below.

Sciences - 19 credits |
| Business - 17 credits |
Engineering - 19.5 credits |
| Professional Studies - 17 credits |
Nursing - 19 credits |

Undergraduate students in Arts, Business, and Professional Studies who have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher will be eligible to register for up to 19 credits after all students have had the opportunity to register for a full course-load, typically the second Monday after registration opens.
