Overview
If your Avaya desk phone is not receiving calls and they are going straight to voicemail, it is likely that the Send All Calls (SAC) feature is activated. This guide will help you turn it off and get your phone back to accepting calls.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check if Send All Calls is Active.
- If your phone has a Send All Calls button and the light next to it is on, the feature is enabled.
- Some phones may show a message like "SAC Active" on the screen if the feature is active.
- Deactivate Send All Calls.
- Option 1: Press the Send All Calls button on your desk phone. The light will turn off, indicating the feature is deactivated.
- Option 2: Pick up the handset and dial #22 on the keypad. This will disable the SAC feature and allow calls to come through normally.
- Test the Phone.
- Call your desk phone from another phone to ensure that the Send All Calls feature is off and that incoming calls are no longer being sent to voicemail. Do not call from your own cell phone as it could be tied to your desk phone through EC-500.
Note:
- If calls are still going directly to voicemail after deactivating Send All Calls, check if call forwarding is enabled or contact UNIT for further assistance.
