Overview
This article explores how to create a page in your Brightspace course. Creating a page allows for adding multiple types of content on one page, helping to organize your course.
Instructions
1. At the top of your course page, from the blue course navigation bar, click Content.
2. Navigate to the Unit or Lesson you will be working in.
3. Click the gray Create New button at the top of the page.

4. Select Page from the next screen.

5. The content editor is available to edit a page in your course.

5. Users can use the content editor tools for the following:
- Format: Change the format of your text to be a paragraph, heading, blockquote, or code.
- Bold, Italic, Underline: Text options (includes strike-through, superscript, and subscript)
- Font Color
- Alignment: Change the alignment of text.
- List: Choose between different list formats and indentations.
- Creator+ Authoring tools: Insert Element, Practice, or Layout
- Insert Stuff: Add content such as files from OneDrive or a link to outside webpage.
- Insert Quicklink: Add links to course content and to 3rd party tools (such as Mediasite, Publisher content, and Voicethread)
- Insert Image
- Insert Equation
- Insert Table
- Other Insert Options: Includes Divider, Emoji, symbol, or html code
- Font/Font Size
- Format Painter: Highlight text to change its format or insert a link.
- Accessibility Checker: Check if your content is accessible for all users. The Accessibility Checker dialog notes where and why your content is not accessible and encourages revisions.
- More Actions (...): Expand the Brightspace Editor toolbar.
- Fullscreen: Enter fullscreen mode for Brightspace Editor.
- Word Count: View the word count for your content.
- Preview: View how your content will appear to users when published.
- Source Code: View and edit the HTML for your content.
- Undo/Redo: Reverse an action.
