Description
D2L-Brightspace will be Villanova University's new learning management system (LMS) for all courses starting with the Summer 2026 semester and can be accessed at brightspace.villanova.edu. D2L-Brightspace allows faculty and students to access course content, complete learning activities such as assignments & quizzes, provide grades & feedback, as well as offer additional modern, innovative learning technologies to use in courses.

Submit Blackboard Course Transfer Request if you need a Blackboard course that is older than the Summer 2023 semester transferred into D2L-Brightspace. All Blackboard courses between Summer 2023-Spring 2026 semester will be automatically transferred into D2L-Brightspace LMS (you will not need to make a request for these courses). If you had instructor access to the course in Blackboard, you will have access to it in the D2L-Brightspace LMS.

Brightspace Data requests may involve several offices and take up to 7-10 business days to process after the request has been reviewed. It is recommended that requests be submitted at least two weeks prior to the date the information is needed by your department. Turnaround time may be contingent upon scope of work. |
