Access the New Agent Page
- Navigate to the intelligent agents tool and click on "New Agent."
Enter Agent Name
- Enter a name for the agent using a standard naming convention to clearly identify its purpose in the agent list.
Edit Description
- Click "Edit Description" and enter your notes about the agent in the description field.
Set Criteria
- Navigate to the "Criteria" section.
- In the "Course Activity" section, select "Take action when the following course activity criteria are satisfied."
- Enter the number of days acceptable for a learner to be absent from the course before the agent sends you a notification.
Configure Actions
- Navigate to the "Actions" section.
- Set the agent to take action every time it is evaluated and its criteria are satisfied for a user.
- Select "Send an email when the criteria are satisfied" to receive a notification.
Specify Email Details
- In the "To" field, use the replacement string {InitiatingUserAuditors} to send the email to the auditors of the identified learner.
- Enter a detailed subject and message explaining the reason for the email.
- Use replacement strings in the body of the email to personalize the content. For example, include the learner's name, the course offering, and the last date they accessed the course.
Set Up Scheduling
- Navigate to the "Scheduling" section.
- Click "Use Schedule" to allow the agent to run on a regular basis without manual prompting.
- Click "Update Schedule."
Set Repetition Frequency
- With the repetition set to "Daily," enter how often you want the agent to run.
- Click "Update."
Save and Close
- Click "Save and Close" to finalize and save your intelligent agent.
