Overview
This article provides instructions for connecting to VUConnect on Chromebook.
Instructions
- Ensure you are already connected to a Wi-Fi network. If you are on campus, connect to VUGuest or eduroam.
- Go to vuconnect.villanova.edu, then confirm that your operating system was identified correctly. If it wasn't, use the Select your device drop-down to change it.

- Click Install.
- You should be directed to SecureW2's JoinNow MultiOS page in the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome.

- A pop-up window will ask whether to add "JoinNow MultiOS." Click Add extension.

- A browser notification will confirm that JoinNow MultiOS has been added to Chrome.

- Back on the VUConnect registration page, a notification will confirm that the Chrome extension was installed successfully. To continue, click the Sign In button.

- You'll be directed to a Microsoft login page in your browser. Enter your userid@villanova.edu, then click Next.

- Enter your password, then click Sign in.

- When prompted, approve the sign in request in Microsoft Authenticator.

- Back on the VUConnect registration page, click the Download button.

- The registration page will display a "Loading" message, then confirm that "Enrollment succeeded."
- After a few seconds, a new Network tab will open in your browser. The registration page will instruct you to switch to that new tab.
- On the Network tab, scroll down to the Import ONC file section and click Choose File.

- Locate and select your downloaded ONC file, then click Open.

- Your device should now connect to VUConnect automatically. If it doesn't, go to your available Wi-Fi networks and select VUConnect.
