Aspen V11 Installation Instructions

Overview

This document will walk you through the installation of Aspen V11 for PC. 

Requirements

internet access, egrportal access

Instructions

  1. Go to egrportal.villanova.edu and download Aspen V11.

  1. Once downloading is complete, click on the downloaded file and extract all.
  2. Open the setup application.

 

  1. Allow the application to make changes to your device if prompted.
  2. Select aspenONE Engineering and “Begin Install".

  1. Click "Install aspenONE products".

  1. On the following screen, agree to terms and click “Next.”
  2. When you arrive at the following screen, uncheck all the boxes except the first four checked below, then click “Next.”

  1. Use aspen.villanova.edu as the License and click “Add Server.”  Your screen should then look identical to the one shown below before clicking “Next.”

  1. If prompted by the following screen, create a username and password and then click “Next.”

  1. Click “Install Now” and the installation will begin.  This may take several minutes depending on the strength of you WiFi connection.
  2. Upon completion, click “Finish.”
  3. Uncheck “Automatically launch aspenONE Update Agent after rebooting the computer” and click “Reboot Now.” Aspen will now be installed.
