Wildcard Access Portal- Submitting a Request
1. On either your computer or mobile device, visit www.villanova.edu/wildcard and click on the link for the Access Request Portal.

2. Sign in using your LDAP username and password. Access requests can be submitted by VU Faculty and Staff only.
3. You will see the following screen. Select the + symbol in the upper right-hand corner to begin your request.

4. The request form will automatically populate the name, e-mail address, and department of the requester. Please fill out the following fields- Subject of Request, Name of Access Recipient, Banner ID of Access Recipient, Building Name, Door Name, Start/ End Date, Reason for Request, and any attachment that may be necessary. Under the drop-down menu for Door Name, the requester can search for the location. A requester can submit a request for themselves, or for others by adding text in the Reason for Request box or including an attachment. Students and contractors will need an active Faculty or Staff member to submit the request for them.

5. Click on the blue check mark
when complete.
6. The request will go to the Wildcard Office for initial approval, followed by the door location owner for final approval. Upon completion, the requester will receive an email informing them that the access request has been confirmed or denied.
