Overview: This document will walk you through the basics of running a download for CES (with Ansys) 2019.
Requirements: access to the software portal: egrportal.villanova.edu, and internet access.
Note: This application is NOT compatible with Apple (OSX, iOS) products.
Steps:
Open egr portal: egrportal.villanova.edu
In the software downloads link click the scroll menu and pull up: CES-2019
Click download. The file will populate at the bottom of the screen.
Click the file that populated at the bottom of the screen.
A file page will open- click CES2019-student.
The file will open to a new file page- click edupack_setup.2019
A pop-up will appear- press: EXTRACT ALL.
After pressing extract all click extract on the pop-up that follows.
After running a basic file page will appear showing: CES2019- student- this is the final step- the process was successfully run.
Click the CES2019-student file.
The final page that will show is a file page: click on edupack_setup.2019
Clicking this will run the software and will automatically open the application.
It will launch a sign in page: sign in and continue from there.
