CES (with Ansys)

Overview

This document will walk you through the basics of running a download for CES (with Ansys) 2019.

Requirements

Access to the software portal: egrportal.villanova.edu, and internet access

Note: This application is NOT compatible with Apple (OSX, iOS) products.

Instructions

  1. Open egr portal: egrportal.villanova.edu
  2. In the software downloads link click the scroll menu and pull up: CES-2019
  3. Click download. The file will populate at the bottom of the screen.

 

  1. Click the file that populated at the bottom of the screen.
  2. A file page will open- click CES2019-student.

  1. The file will open to a new file page- click edupack_setup.2019

  1. A pop-up will appear- press: EXTRACT ALL.

  1. After pressing extract all click extract on the pop-up that follows.
  2. After running a basic file page will appear showing: CES2019- student- this is the final step- the process was successfully run.
  3. Click the CES2019-student file.

 

 

  1. The final page that will show is a file page: click on edupack_setup.2019

  1. Clicking this will run the software and will automatically open the application.
  2. It will launch a sign in page: sign in and continue from there.
