The Mediasite Mosaic application has reached end-of-life and will no longer be supported in 2026.

We are excited to announce a new way to record lectures from the comfort of your home, your office, or while you’re on-the-go: directly from your web browser, no application download required. We welcome you to jump in and start creating content with Mediasite Capture today!

What do users need to know? 
•    No loss of Functionality: All features from the Mosaic application are available in Capture, which offers a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
•    Current Mosaic content is safe: Existing recordings will remain accessible on Mediasite. This change only affects the Mosaic application itself.
•    Mosaic access end-of-life: While the app may continue to work, it will not be supported, and you will not be able to open a support case or receive any updates.

•    No installation: Users can record directly from their own browser window.
•    Easy corrections: Users can preview and make simple edits to their recordings before finalizing the upload, allowing for easy re-recording.
•    Simplified access: Any Villanova user can access their MyMediasite account and create an "In-browser" recording from any device.
•    Improved compatibility: Capture works seamlessly across Windows, macOS, and most browsers.
