Overview
This is available to students, staff, and faculty to install Visio, Project, or other unique Microsoft programs on Windows devices.
Instructions
1. Go to https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching.
2. This will bring you to a screen where you need to sign in, see below:
3. The “Sign In” button will direct you to a Single Sign On. Enter your Villanova credentials.
4. You may be prompted to set up a sign-in method or to contact your administrator to set up multi-factor authentication. Email support@villanova.edu to request access to Azure Dev Tools.
5. Once you have been granted access, sign in again. You'll be prompted to set up a sign-in method. Click Next.
6. When asked to verify your identity, choose Approve with Villanova MFA. Authenticate with Duo if prompted, then click Done.
7. You'll be directed to a similar page as below. To find and download necessary programs, such as Project Professional 2019, click on the “software” tab on the left side of your screen.
8. In the software tab, use the search bar to find the program you need. Click on “download.” After you install the program, you may need a product key, which you can find by selecting “view key.”
- For Visio specifically, you will download an ISO file. Instead of “run” as a command, you will mount it and a “setup” program will become available for selection. This will initiate your install.
