Why the Change? 

• Overlapping Technologies – OneDrive provides enhanced features that overlap with CrashPlan functionality. 

• Technical Stewardship – Consolidating solutions under OneDrive ensures a more consistent, secure, and supportable environment for the university community.

• Low Usage – CrashPlan has seen a steady decline in usage, making it less viable to maintain. 

What this Means to You 

CrashPlan will no longer be available after June 1, 2025.
