Overview

Banner is Villanova University's system of record and central data repository. The self-service portion of Banner is known as Noavsis. Throughout the year, Banner requires maintenance, which typically occurs on Sunday mornings when required. However, there may be times outside of this designated period in which updates may have to be scheduled. During these periods of maintenance and updates, Banner may not be accessible. Please refer to this page for additional updates. If there is an outage, please refer to the Service Status page. 

 

Maintenance Periods

Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025 | 6 to 11 a.m.

Please be advised that the Novasis and Self Service Banner 9 environment will be unavailable on Sunday, Sept. 14, due to scheduled system maintenance. The maintenance window will begin at 6 a.m. and is expected to last until 11 a.m. This maintenance is part of our quarterly infrastructure update cycle to ensure the continued reliability and performance of core systems.

During this time, access to Novasis and Self Service Banner 9 applications will be impacted.
