CrashPlan: Install on macOS

Overview

This article provides instructions for downloading and installing CrashPlan on Mac OS.

Instructions

  1. Download CrashPlan Mac.
  2. Allow website downloads.
  3. Open downloaded CrashPlan file.
  4. Proceed through the prompts to install CrashPlan until the following prompt shows that the installation was completed.

  1. Click on Change Install Location.

  1. Select Install for me only and click continue.

  1. Click Install.

  1. Enter Local Administrator username and password.

  1. Open and sign in to CrashPlan

SSO Login: VUID@villanova.edu; Server: clients.us2.crashplan.com

  1. Select Add New Device.
