Overview: This document will walk you through adding network printers to your Villanova-issued Windows machine.
Requirements: Windows OS, internet access, printer’s VU tag
Steps:
Type “Run” into the search bar and hit Enter.
Enter the following command: \\vups1\VUTag replacing “VUTag” with the printer’s VU tag. Click OK.
If prompted, enter your Villanova credentials to finish the installation process.
To set the printer as default, go to Settings, then Bluetooth & Devices, and finally Printers & Scanners.
Select the printer and click Set as Default in the upper right-hand corner.
