Overview
Locate listing of holds that would prevent registration and how to resolve them.
Background
Holds may be placed on student records for various reasons by individual departments/authorities on campus. Holds can affect registration, transcript release, and/or graduation. For this reason, it is important to take note of any holds on one's record and clear them as soon as possible.
Instructions
1. In the search bar of myNOVA, type in "Student Profile". Click on the My Student Information task card.

2. If any holds exist, you will see a red number next to the word "Holds" on the top right corner of your student profile. Click on this number to view the nature of the hold and the office to contact to resolve it. ( I.e. "Call Bursar" means contact the Bursar's Office for information about the hold they have placed.) If you receive a warning that some holds are sensitive and may not be displayed, please contact the Bursar's Office for more information.
