Tips: Manage your Location Settings

Location services are among the most important permissions you can grant (or deny) on your device. Many apps rely on location services to do their job. Whether you use an iPhone or an Android device, it's easy to turn location services on and off globally, or enable location services for specific apps.

iOS

Open the Settings app.
Go to Privacy & Security.
Then Location Services, turn on or off Location Services.

Android

Swipe down from the top of the screen.
Touch and hold Location.
1. If you don't find Location:
  1. Tap Edit or Settings.
  2. Drag Location into your Quick Settings.
