Brightspace: Review Assignment Feedback (Students)

Overview

This article details how to review assignment feedback in Brightspace.

There are multiple ways in which students can see their grades, as well as any instructor feedback on assignments.

View Feedback through the Assignments Page

  1. On the navbar, click Assignments
         Assignments higlighted on the navigation bar
  2. From the Assignments page, locate your assignment, and click Unread in the Evaluation Status column.
  3. From the View Feedback page, you can view your submission feedback, rubric assessment, and grade.
  4. If your instructor added annotated feedback to the assignment, click View Inline Feedback. The annotation view opens in a new tab and may include highlighting, freehand drawing, shapes, and commenting.
  5. To download the annotated assignment as a PDF, click Download.
  6. When you are finished viewing feedback, navigate back to the View Feedback page and click Done.

View Feedback through Grades

  1. Navigate to Grades.
  2. Find your assignment.
  3. Review your grade and any feedback in the Comments and Assessments column. If used, you may see Inline Feedback and/or a Graded Rubric.
