Villanova is transitioning to a new learning management system, Brightspace! Starting with the Summer 2026 semester, all courses will be available in Brightspace, and Blackboard will no longer be used. Important: On June 18, 2026, Blackboard will no longer be accessible to Villanova faculty, students, and staff. If you need to save submitted or graded work (submitted assignments, completed quizzes, gradebook scores), please download it prior to June 18 2026

Brightspace

D2L-Brightspace will be Villanova University's new learning management system (LMS) for all courses starting with the Summer 2026 semester and can be accessed at https://brightspace.villanova.edu/. Additional courses will be offered on Brightspace in Spring 2026 on a limited basis. If you are unsure where to find your course materials, please check with your instructor.
