Overview
This article will explain how to set up testing accommodations for students in your class. This setting is for the Quiz tool only and only allows for modification of the time limit. This is edited at the student level, and will carry with the student for the entire course.
Instructions
- In the blue Course Navigation bar, select Classlist. Note: You may need to select the option More first in order to see the option for your Classlist.
- Find the student who will be receiving time accommodations on quizzes. Click the down caret next to their name. A short menu will open; select Edit Accommodations (the last option in the menu.)
- A pop-up window will appear. Select Modify Time Limit.
- You can adjust the Quizzes time limit a multiplier (for example, 1.5 will grant time and a half to the student) or by granting extra time on all quizzes.
- When you have finished updating the student's accommodations, click the blue button Save.
- An icon will appear next to the student's name in your classlist to signify that they have an accommodation applied.
