Overview
Authorized Administrators can access Student unofficial academic transcripts from the Student Profile. Search for the student by ID to access the Student Profile. Then, click on the academic transcript link on the left navigation menu to access the student's transcript.
Note: Advisors have access to view transcripts of their Advisees only, unless they also have the authorized administrator role. For instructions on how advisors access advisee transcripts, please view this article.
Requirements
Must have VU Admin Role and override Novasis permission in banner to allow administrative access to view student transcript. To request this access, please contact registrar@villanova.edu.
Instructions
Log in to myNova and search for 'Student Transcript'.
From the resulting task items, select Student Search
From the NOVASIS Search Student page, select the enrollment term and search for the Student/Advisee by ID. Select a Search Type. Then, click Submit.
If you do not know the student ID, please search in banner or the directory for the student's ID or "Villanova Number." (eight digits starting with "0"). If you do not have access to banner or the directory, please contact UTS for account access.
NOTE -- Searching by name will only work if you are the advisor or instructor of the student for the specified term.
The ID and Name of your advisee should appear in the Student and Advisee Selection block.
Click in the row displaying the student ID and Name to access the Student Profile. From the Student Profile, go to the left navigation pane and click on Student Academic Transcript.
From the Academic Transcript Page, select a Transcript Level (or all levels) and the Transcript type (unofficial).
The student's transcript should appear with tabs to view all details.
