Overview
Step-by-step instructions to search the Master Schedule for courses in a specific semester.
Requirements
Must be a registered student and log in to myNova.
Instructions
Go to mynova.villanova.edu and search for Registration Tools.
Click on the Registration Tools task item (note: task tiles 'Student Class Schedule', 'Student Detail Schedule', and 'My Schedule and Registration' will also lead to the registration menu page).

The Registration menu page will appear. Click on University Schedule of Classes.

Select the appropriate Term for Class Search (upcoming semester).

Search Criteria
- Subject code (i.e. PSY, ECE, NUR, etc.) and Course Number (1000, 1100, etc.)
- Attribute type (i.e. Peace & Justice, Core History, etc.)
- Keyword - results include any course where the word searched appears anywhere in the course title or description
- Campus - (i.e. Cabrini, Villanova)
- Course Title
- Course Number Range (especially helpful if you see this option on your advisee's Degree Works audit)
- Instructor
- Instructional Method (i.e. In-person, Multimodal, etc.)
- Part of Term (ie. Full term, Fast Forward I, etc.)
- Credit Range
- Meetings days or times
Entering criteria in multiple fields will return classes that fit BOTH criteria. For example, if you enter the following criteria...
- Subject: Mathematics
- Attribute: Core History
... you will receive 0 results, as there are no Math courses that carry a Core History attribute. Conversely, searches for these criteria individually will return many results.
Courses with no available seats are marked in the Status column with a red exclamation mark and the notation "FULL".
Students are responsible for reviewing all Class Details before registering for a course. If Restrictions or Prerequisites exist for the specific class, they will be notated on the respective tabs of the Class Details.

Once you have identified courses of interest, make a note so that you can add these courses to a Plan using the Plan Ahead tool.
