Mediasite: Recording and sharing your name pronunciation

Overview

You can record your name to help others with correct pronunciation. This might be useful if your name has multiple pronunciations or is commonly mispronounced. After creating a recording of your name, you will add your link to your email signature. Please follow the steps below to record your name using Mediasite Capture.

Known Issues & Troubleshooting

  • The directions in this article explain how to update your signature in Microsoft Outlook, Villanova’s enterprise-wide email client. Other clients may use a different process.
  • If you record using a single-screen setup, you must manually switch between Capture and PowerPoint. This will likely require trimming the beginning and end of your recording.
  • Presentation downloads from within the Capture window will include anything you trimmed out. If you want to download the final version of your presentation, please refer to the Knowledge Article “Mediasite: Download a copy of your presentation”.
