ODS/EDW Support

Description

UNIT BI & Analytics team provides services in loading, cleansing, and integrating data into the ODS and EDW. The integrated data can be from systems such as Banner, DegreeWorks, Slate etc. 

The Operational Data Store (ODS) is a database specifically designed for performance by grouping and re-organizing data into a simplified, easy-to-understand, business-focused format to provide end-users with the ability to quickly create and deploy operational and adhoc reports in real time or near-real time. The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is a multi-dimensional database (EDW) that can provide a complete picture of an institution’s current and past business conditions through aggregated data that can be refreshed daily or snapshot to show historical data at institution-specific points in time.

Eligibility

Faculty & Staff can access data in the ODS/EDW via UNIT approved reporting tools such as Cognos, Argos, Power BI etc.
