AEM Website Assistance

The Web Services and Technologies group assists with several areas that involve AEM websites within the villanova.edu domain. For assistance on any of these topics, please open a support request and detail the information as requested in that request form and as outlined below. As an AEM user, you have access to additional resources in the AEM Author Resources site in Teams which provides you how-to instructions and videos regarding your AEM sites.

AEM Design Assistance

To request assistance with design or layout elements for your website, such as cropping or optimizing photos to be used or creating a more visual layout for your page, please detail in your support request the page and the specific items you need assistance with.

AEM Editing Assistance

To request assistance with editing your website, please detail in your support request the page and the specific items you need assistance with.

Bio Photo Addition

To request assistance with having a bio photo uploaded or replaced, please provide a crisp image that is large enough to be cropped and added to display within your bio profile.

iFrame/Widget Integration

To request assistance with the integration of coding snippets within an iFrame or HTML widget on your AEM webpage, you must first get vendor review by the UNIT Information Security team. When that has been approved, please detail in your support request the page, provide the appropriate coding to be included, and specify the placement of the widget.

New Website Request (in AEM)

To request the creation of a new website in AEM, you must work with the Directory of Web Content Julie Delaney and UCM. Through their direction, the WST team will assist with the creation and implementation of the new website.

Site Migration (moving from QA to PROD)

To request assistance for AEM site migrations from QA to Production,  please detail in your support request the directory or pages that need to be migrated, along with directory locations of corresponding assets and a redirect plan for that site directory.

Vanity URL Request

To request creation and implementation of a vanity URL that redirects to a specified webpage within AEM, please detail in your support request the vanity you wish to have created and the URL it will redirect to. Before the request is created they will need the approval of UCM.
