Description
The Web Services and Technologies group provides forms support for departmental websites within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), the university-wide content management system used for the main Villanova websites included within the www1.villanova.edu domain (departmental websites).

What Type of Form Do You Need?
There are several applications you can leverage for creating forms to integrate with your website. However, there are a few questions to consider when preparing to create a form:
- Does the form need to be secured for an internal audience, accessible to only individuals with Villanova credentials?
- Does the form need a workflow, where the submission gets routed to someone to approve?
- Does the form need to collect data?
- Is the data being collected student or alumni data?
- Does the form need to allow for the uploading of attachments?
Microsoft Forms - Forms for an internal audience with Villanova credentials.
AEM Forms - Forms that can be used for both internal or external audiences.
TouchNet Forms - Forms that seek to process payments.
Requesting Forms Assistance
Requests for web forms must include the following information:
- Type of form needed ( data collection; payment processing; email data)
- Type of audience (internal or external)
- Detail listing of fields to be included
- Detail listing of special features that may be needed (conditional show/hide elements, etc)
