Requirements
Smartsheet licenses require the following prerequisites:
To access the Smartsheet Enterprise platform, users must:
- Be a current faculty or staff member (students may be granted access based on role or use case)
- Have an approved business need or project justification for a licensed account
- Adhere to university data governance, privacy, and security policies
- Participate in Smartsheet onboarding or training if building new solutions
- Use Smartsheet within defined best practices and platform governance standards

Service Levels
Service Levels will not be defined until enterprise access and chargeback processes are rolled out to the University.
Service Offerings
The Smartsheet Enterprise service provides licensed users with full access to the platform’s robust capabilities, enabling flexible, scalable solutions for a wide range of business needs. Offerings include:
- Full Platform Access: Licensed users have access to the complete suite of Smartsheet features, including sheets, reports, dashboards, automated workflows, forms, calendars, resource management, document generation, and premium capabilities like cell linking, cross-sheet references, and data-sharing controls.
- Template Library Access: Users can leverage Smartsheet’s full library of pre-built templates as well as any custom, university-approved templates created to support common use cases such as project tracking, intake forms, meeting agendas, and task lists.
- Solution Design Support: The university’s PMO or IT team provides guidance on building and maintaining effective, scalable Smartsheet solutions aligned with best practices and governance standards.
- Training: Access to Smartsheet University’s library of training materials, and access to schedule Smartsheet Pro-desk sessions for hands-on support.
- Centralized User and License Management: Smartsheet licensing is managed centrally, with role-based provisioning, quarterly usage reviews, and governance to ensure licenses are allocated efficiently and securely.
