Overview

TeamDynamix version 12.2 introduces several updates that improve how tickets are submitted, assigned, and viewed in Villanova’s TDX environment. These changes focus on a more modern client portal experience, clearer links, faster ticket routing, and improved visibility into shared dashboards.

Key Enhancements

Updated Client Portal Look and Feel

You will notice a refreshed look and feel when using the TDX client portal to search the knowledge base, request services, or check the status of your tickets.

  • Cleaner, more modern tables and layouts
  • Action buttons that take up less space and are easier to use
  • Service and knowledge pages that use more screen width, making content easier to read
  • Fewer pop-up windows — most actions now happen directly on the page

These updates are visual and usability improvements only; how you submit tickets or requests does not change.

Friendlier Client Portal URLs

Links to services, request forms, and knowledge base articles in our TDX portal will now use clearer, more descriptive URLs.

  • Knowledge base articles and categories
  • Service and service offering pages
  • Request forms
  • Custom client portal pages

You do not need to update any saved bookmarks or links — existing links will automatically redirect to the new format.

Automatic Ticket Assignment

Behind the scenes, tickets submitted to certain support groups may now be assigned automatically instead of waiting for manual assignment.

  • Tickets are routed using a round‑robin assignment process
  • This helps distribute work more evenly among support staff
  • Reduces delays before a technician begins working on your ticket

Shared Dashboards

Some ticketing users may begin to see shared dashboards that provide better visibility into ticket status, trends, or workloads.

  • Dashboards can now be shared directly with users or groups
  • No special requests to administrators are needed once sharing is enabled
  • Supports greater transparency and collaboration
