Overview
This article explains how to sign in to ChatGPT Edu using your Villanova University account. ChatGPT Edu uses Villanova single sign-on (SSO), allowing licensed users to access ChatGPT with their username@villanova.edu email address.
Requirements
- An active Villanova University account.
- Your Villanova username in the format username@villanova.edu.
- A Villanova ChatGPT Edu license.
Instructions
- Open a web browser and navigate to www.chatgpt.com.
- Click Log in, typically in the top right corner of the screen.
- Enter your Villanova email address in the format username@villanova.edu and click Continue.
- If prompted, log in to Villanova SSO and follow the prompts for MFA.
If you receive a message indicating that your account is not authorized or you cannot access ChatGPT Edu, verify that you are signing in with your Villanova account (username@villanova.edu). If the problem persists, contact the UTS Service Desk for assistance.
