TCE: Edit Institution Comment Form Reference Guide

Suggested audience: Transfer advisors and department reviewers

PURPOSE The Update Transfer Institution form allows you to add or revise an institution-level comment. This comment provides consistent guidance for reviewers and is available for viewing on every transfer course associated with the institution.

When to Use This Form

Use this form when guidance or context should apply to all transfer courses from the institution.

This form is available in multiple places across the TCE system. To open the Update Transfer Institution form:

  • From the Course Card (TCE Student Review workflow): Select Edit Comment for Institution.
  • From the Course Dashboard (TCE Course Review workflow): Select Edit Comment for Institution.
  • From the Internal Transfer Credit Lookup Portal: Select the pencil next to the Institution Comment box after opening the course row.

Update Transfer Institution Form

Enter or revise the institution-level comment in the comment box then click Submit.

How the Form Works

IMPORTANT Comments entered here are available for viewing on every transfer course from this institution, helping reviewers apply consistent guidance. They should not be related to one specific course or one specific student.
