Overview: This KB article will walk you through the steps for joining VUMobile on an Android OS device.
Requirements: VUMobile access, Android OS.
Steps: (Refer to the screenshot below in the following steps)
1) Navigate to settings, then select WiFi. You should see a screen similar to below:
2) Set security to: WPA/WPA2/WPA-3 Enterprise. If these options are separate, select "WPA2".
3) Set EAP method to: PEAP
4) Set CA Certificate to: Do not validate. If there is no option for this, select "Use System Certificates".
5) If prompted for a domain, enter: "villanova.edu".
6) For identity, enter the username without @villanova.edu
7) Leave the anonymous identity field blank.
8) For password, enter the users Villanova email password.
9) The user should now be authenticated to VUMobile on their Android device.
