WiFi Troubleshooting: Forget a Network

Overview: Forgetting a network is a helpful step when you are having problems connecting to WiFi. If you have changed your password recently, you may need to complete these steps to reconnect to VUMobile with your new credentials.

Requirements: device with Internet connection

Steps:

Mac OS (Apple):

  • Click the Wi-Fi symbol at the top of your screen and select Wi-Fi Settings.
  • Click the 3 dots to the right of VUMobile.
  • Select Forget This Network.
  • Click Remove.  

iOS (iPhone):

  • From the home screen, choose Settings.
  • In the settings menu, choose Wi-Fi.
  • Locate VUMobile and click the blue symbol next to the name.
  • Click Forget this Network at the top of the page, then click Forget.

Windows 11:

  • Navigate to the Network icon in the lower right corner of your screen.
  • Click on the Arrow icon next to the Wi-Fi symbol to Manage Wi-Fi connections.
  • Right click on VUMobile in the list of available nextworks.
  • Choose Forget.  

Or

  • Go to Settings, then click Network and Internet, and then Wi-Fi.
  • Select Manage Known Networks.
  • To the right of VUMobile, click Forget.

Android:

  • From the home screen, choose Settings.
  • In the settings menu, choose Wi-Fi.
  • Locate VUMobile and tap or press and hold it.
  • Choose Forget.
