Zoom AI Companion is available to all Villanova University users for use in any Zoom meeting, but it is not automatically enabled. The host must activate the AI features once the meeting begins.

- In-Meeting Questions: Ask questions during meetings and receive AI-generated responses.
- Whiteboard Content Generation: AI assists in creating content on Zoom Whiteboards.
- Smart Recording: Enhanced recordings with highlights and chapters.
Default Settings When Enabled
- Only the host receives the meeting summary via email.
- Attendees do not receive the summary unless the host manually shares it.
- Hosts can adjust settings to allow all attendees to receive summaries.
Customization & Opt-Out
If you prefer not to use Zoom AI features, you can disable them for your account or customize your settings.

Privacy and Data Usage
Zoom AI Companion is designed with privacy in mind. AI features do not use audio, video, or screen sharing content for model training. Only meeting content such as chat, transcripts, and whiteboard text may be used to generate AI responses.
Zoom does not use customer content to train its AI models unless the customer explicitly opts in.
