VESTA Installation Instructions

Overview

This document will walk you through downloading VESTA.

Requirements

Access to the software portal: egrportal.villanova.edu, and internet access.

Note: This application is NOT compatible with MAC/IOS products.

Instructions

  1. Open egr portal: egrportal.villanova.edu
  2. In the software downloads link click the scroll menu and pull up: VESTA.
  3. Click download. The file will download at the bottom of the screen.

 

  1. Click on the file download.
  2. This will open a file page: click on VESTA-win64

 

  1. A new file page will open after clicking VESTA-win 64. Now click the application VESTA.

 

  1. The page will open a new prompt: click extract all. Follow prompts for extracting.   

           

  1. Following extraction the file page will show VESTA-win64.

 

  1. Run this program. It will open to a new file page: scroll to find the VESTA application file. Click it.

 

  1. Vesta will open and look like the page below and has been successfully installed.
