While Microsoft Copilot works alongside popular Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more, today, Villanova University is licensed only for Microsoft Copilot Chat, formerly Bing Chat for Enterprise. Microsoft 365 Copilot provides real-time intelligent assistance, enabling users to enhance their creativity, productivity, and skills.
This tool is available to all active faculty, staff, and students and is presently approved for handling institutional data that is classified as Restricted, Private, or Public. This is protected via our agreement with Microsoft as well as the Enterprise Data Protection commitment from Microsoft.
