User ID: a unique, eight character string that is commonly used by Villanova systems and applications as your underlying username or user ID.
Email Address (faculty and staff only): a friendly, easy to remember string, comprised of your firstname.lastname@villanova.edu.
Villanova Single Sign-On
Most Villanova systems and applications are protected with University single sign-on via Microsoft.
When logging into Villanova University systems via single sign-on, use your userid@villanova.edu, e.g., johndoe1@villanova.edu. If you use your email address, e.g., john.doe@villanova.edu, you will not be able to authenticate.
